What does the role look like?
The position will report hierarchically to the Supply Chain Strategy Manager and will be responsible for managing the New Product Introduction and Research & Development Supply Chain activities. The candidate will interact directly with internal and external customers, serving as the primary contact between Supply Chain and Program Management/Engineering offices.
What will your day‑to‑day responsibilities look like?
- Scout and qualify new suppliers, requiring a solid technical understanding of machining processes, equipment, and manufacturing technologies.
- Manage all aspects of the project to ensure achievement of project objectives.
- Apply project lifecycle requirements from Gate1 (Bid) to Gate5 (OE Production).
- Execute the project plan and schedule to meet business case requirements for Supply Chain, RC, NRC, and Capex.
- Support costing activities at the bid process, define the sourcing strategy with Commodities, ensure NDA coverage, negotiate RFQs, coordinate NPI supplier selection reviews, report LTA coverage, support supplier reviews,



place and manage purchase orders, follow customer reviews, and coordinate industrialization.
- Manage supplier delivery and quality performance to meet project requirements.
- Establish and manage supplier relationships to provide competitive advantage.
- Identify and support initiatives to reduce costs, improve material flow, evaluate capacity, and manage material obsolescence.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Integrated Project Team regarding risk, problem resolution, and hardware achievement.
- Define, review, and track on‑time delivery through LOB or WIP trackers, cost adherence, release drawing, and technical information to suppliers.
- Support the engineering team in achieving design for manufacture and design for cost.
