Interpreter with Chinese

Location: Milan, Rome and/or remote according to the type of event

STAR7 Group is recruiting Simultaneous Interpreters from English into Chinese to be part of our growing Teams.

The linguist will provide simultaneous and/or consecutive translation, ensuring that:

- target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source
- high-grammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references




- a good quality audio (in case of RSI)

Requirements

Main requirements

- Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, Interpreting, or equivalent experience
- Native speaker in one of the languages involved
- Excellent command of the English language in both comprehension and writing
- Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language
- Adaptive to fast-paced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with simultaneous & consecutive interpreting service
- Experience with Interpretation systems (bidule)
- Experience in translating technical courses would be a plus
