Very interesting job opportunity as a Global Accounting Director Leading player in the distribution industry Azienda Our Client is a leading company operating in the distribution sector.
Global Accounting Leadership
Lead and oversee accounting operations across multiple international jurisdictions. Drive consistency, standardisation and practices across the Group's accounting activities. Build, develop and lead a high-performing global accounting team.
Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes. Oversee balance sheet integrity, intercompany accounting and statutory reporting requirements. Governance, Controls & Compliance Maintain a strong accounting control environment across the Group.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP requirements and internal policies. Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting obligations across all jurisdictions. Coordinate local cash flow planning and liquidity forecasting processes.
Support
Group cash management through accurate reporting and strong balance sheet discipline.
Business Partnership
Partner closely with the CFO, regional finance teams and business leaders to support growth and operational excellence. Provide accounting expertise, insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Competenze ed esperienza The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with proven leadership experience in complex multinational environments.
Qualified Chartered
Accountant (ACA, ACCA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA). ~ Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. ~10+ years of accounting experience within multinational organisations. ~ Proven leadership experience managing international accounting teams. ~ Strong knowledge of IFRS and multi-country accounting environments. ~ Experience managing statutory reporting, audits and financial controls across multiple jurisdictions. ~ Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. ~ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth international environment. Big Four background.
Experience within consumer goods or international branded businesses.
Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms.
Advanced
