As a field-based Key Account Manager, you will drive adoption of Oncotype DX in the North-East Italy region, aligning local plans with the national brand strategy. You will build and manage relationships with oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and payers, showcasing value beyond testing and advancing patient access.
You'll operate autonomously to execute account plans, differentiate from competitors, and contribute to regional sales growth. This role offers impact by expanding genomic testing within the Italian healthcare landscape and working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Deliver and exceed regional sales objectives in collaboration with the Italy Sales Manager
- Develop and execute local account plans aligned to the national brand plan
- Engage with oncology stakeholders (surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, procurement) to advance adoption of Oncotype DX
- Provide logistical support to Designated Cancer Centers to ensure efficient ordering
- Differentiate Oncotype DX in a competitive market and articulate value beyond testing
- Build relationships with non-clinical customers to demonstrate value to the National Health System
- Manage territory autonomously, prioritizing activities for maximum ROI
- Travel to national meetings and potential international congresses as required
- 5 years sales experience promoting complex medical oncology and/or diagnostics, ideally breast cancer, in Italy
- Experience across National Health System stakeholders and reimbursement processes
- Strong knowledge of regional KOLs (oncologists, pathologists, procurement, decision makers)
- Proven large territory and key account management skills
- Understanding of cancer clinical research and diagnostics; familiarity with cancer care in the Italian public sector
- Effective communication across all levels of the National Health System
- Strategic business acumen; autonomous, entrepreneurial in smaller orgs or divisions
- Willingness to travel; clean Italian driver's license
