ppJoin to apply for the bContract Manager /b role at bNHOA Energy /b /ppThe Contract Manager mission will be to support the Legal team during the development and execution of the project(s). The person will be the key interface for all commercial, contractual and financial aspects of the contract(s) during their execution. /ppThe person will get the opportunity to work in a high-profile environment and join an international and dynamic team used to working under pressure and collaborating to reach key deadlines and goals. This role requires an individual with personal confidence, legal acumen and business savvy to operate in a highly regulated industry. /ppThis position will be based in Milan (Italy), flexibility to travel for work is required. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliInterface with all internal departments to ensure compliance with contract’s obligations, company policies and applicable laws; /liliIdentify contract’s risks and opportunities to protect and enhance the project performance; /liliProactively develop and share adequate contract management strategies; /liliAdminister project’s communications, negotiate contract amendments, variation orders and settlement agreements; /liliManage contract claims, coordinate with the Legal Team in case of dispute; /liliSupport other functions in the negotiation of contracts with clients and suppliers/subcontractors; /liliDrive "on time" payment from customers; /liliSet-up and continuously improve NHOA processes and standards. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3h3Education /h3pThe Contract Manager must have a Law degree and 5-8 years of experience as contract manager or legal counsel in a legal department of an energy or construction company or international law firm.
/ph3Skills /h3ulliFluent in English and Italian, other languages will be a distinct advantage; /liliProven track record in contract management, claims management for engineering/construction projects, dispute resolution, contract negotiation; /liliFamiliarity with large sized EPC projects and standard forms of project contracts (e.g., FIDIC); /liliAppetency for technical matters and the renewable energy sector; /liliAbility to find workable solutions to complex legal and technical questions; /liliAmbitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking; /liliCurious by nature; /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; /liliAbility to prioritize and maintain output under pressure; /liliFlexible to travel for work; /liliIncisive thinker who moves fast and likes to get things done.
