The company’s cutting-edge products are used in laboratories and pharma companies worldwide. 3Brain is headquartered in Switzerland nearby Zurich, has a Discovery Unit and production site in Genova, Italy, and an operational unit in the US. /p h3Tasks /h3 p3Brain is looking for a full-time Scientific Communications Specialist to join its Italian office. In this role, you will work within the marketing department in close collaboration with the Field Application Scientist team and play a key role in communicating the science behind 3Brain’s technology. By following experimental and scientific activities at 3Brain and with its partners, and by translating them into clear written content, marketing materials, talks, and seminars, you will help position our products and research as leaders in the industry. /p h3Main responsibilities /h3 ul liTranslate complex scientific information into clear, accurate, and engaging communication for technical and non-technical audiences. /li liCollaborate with researchers, application scientists, and marketing colleagues to ensure that external communications accurately represent 3Brain’s technology, applications, and scientific value. /li liCraft scientifically accurate and engaging content for various channels, including social media, press releases, website,



blogs and marketing materials. /li liRepresent 3Brain at conferences, congresses, trade shows, customer visits, and scientific events through oral presentations, poster presentations, and scientific discussions, with international travel expected for approximately 30% of the time. /li liWrite and contribute to white papers, application notes, scientific articles, and other technical documents related to 3Brain’s technology and applications. /li liBuild and maintain relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders to identify relevant scientific topics, success stories, and application areas for 3Brain’s community. /li liMonitor industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform 3Brain’s scientific communication, content strategy, and positioning. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liPhD in neuroscience, neurobiology, cell biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or a related life sciences field; a background in electrophysiology, neurobiology or neuroscience is strongly preferred. /li liStrong scientific publication track record in neuroscience, neurobiology, or electrophysiology, including at least 3 first-author peer-reviewed publications. /li li3+ years of hands-on laboratory or research experience in cell biology, neuroscience, electrophysiology, imaging, or a related field. /li liExcellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write clear,



engaging, and scientifically accurate content. /li liProven ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling communication for scientific, technical, and broader life science audiences. /li liDemonstrated ability to drive scientific communication initiatives, from content planning to execution. /li liProficiency in data visualization and the ability to plot scientific data, display it in charts, graphs, and other visual formats to enhance understanding and engagement. /li liHighly motivated, independent, and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of communication projects. /li /ul h3Additional Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with microelectrode arrays (MEA), calcium imaging, and/or patch-clamp recordings. /li liExperience as a reviewer, editor, or editorial board member for scientific journals is a plus. /li li1+ years of laboratory experience on cell-based assays for compound screening in pharma industries. /li liExperience in scientific marketing, product marketing, or communication roles within life science, biotech, pharma, or scientific instrumentation companies is a strong plus. /li liExperience communicating science through professional digital channels, especially LinkedIn and other relevant scientific or industry platforms, is a plus. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liA dynamic and stimulating work environment driven by a desire to build transformational technologies to help others. /li liA young, fast-growing company with plenty of opportunities for personal growth and development. /li liWorking place: Genova, Italy.
