ppHill International is seeking a highly skilled bUmbilical FOC Engineer /b to support key engineering activities for large offshore pipeline and subsea production projects. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with project requirements, international standards, and system reliability across all phases. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Engineering Design Technical Coordination /h3 ul liDevelop design basis and specifications for subsea umbilical, hydraulic/chemical lines, electrical cables, and fiber optics. /li liReview umbilical cross‑section design, electrical loading, tube sizing, and fiber‑optic transmission performance. /li liEnsure compliance with API 17E/F, ISO 13628, DNV standards. /li liReview cable data sheets, PIDs, electrical schematics, and fatigue analyses. /li /ul h3Manufacturing Factory Surveillance /h3 ul liFollow up vendor processes for tube welding, fiber‑optic integration, and conductor manufacturing. /li liReview FAT/EFAT procedures: OTDR tests, pressure testing, continuity and insulation resistance tests. /li liEnsure vendor compliance with ITPs, quality plans, and manufacturing procedures. /li /ul h3Installation Engineering Support /h3 ul liReview umbilical installation analyses: tension, bend radius control, touch‑down behavior. /li liReview pull‑in procedures (J‑tube, I‑tube, direct pull‑in). /li liSupport load‑out, spooling, offshore lay, termination, and testing. /li /ul h3Interface Management /h3 ul liInterface with subsea controls for SCM power, signals, hydraulic capacities, and channel allocation.



/li liInterface with subsea structures for routing, supports, BU/BS selection, and tie‑in frames. /li liInterface with topsides for MCS/ICSS connectivity, hang‑off, power, and communication. /li liInterface with installation contractor for MBR limits, tension, and ROV operations. /li liInterface with geotechnical and survey teams for seabed preparation, burial needs, and route optimization. /li /ul h3Testing, Commissioning Handover /h3 ul liPrepare commissioning procedures for hydraulic flushing, electrical checks, and FO communication tests. /li liSupport offshore OTDR tests, pressure testing, leak checks, and system energization. /li liEnsure all as‑built records and QA documentation are completed. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Subsea, or Telecommunications Engineering. /li liMaster's degree in Offshore/Subsea Engineering (preferred). /li liMinimum 8 years of experience in umbilical/FOC engineering for offshore projects. /li liExperience with vendor follow‑up, FAT/EFAT, and offshore installation. /li liStrong communication, coordination, and documentation skills. /li liExpertise in subsea umbilical and fiber‑optic cable engineering. /li liStrong understanding of LV electrical systems, fiber‑optic communication, and hydraulic/chemical injection lines. /li liSkilled in OTDR analysis, electrical load calculations, and umbilical routing/design tools. /li liKnowledge of API 17E/F, ISO 13628, DNV‑RP‑F401 standards. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
