/p pThe ideal candidate has a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field, and a solid foundation in SQL databases, Python, and ETL processes. /p pWe’re seeking someone eager to grow their expertise in data systems, with strong analytical thinking and a collaborative mindset to deliver data-driven solutions. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the development, maintenance, and optimisation of the company’s data warehouse and automated data management systems. /li liPerform SQL-based data analysis and design data marts and ETL processes, ensuring quality, performance, and security. /li liCollaborate closely with BI specialists and Data Scientists to deliver accurate, high-quality data. /li liSupport the generation of insights and recommendations from data to inform business decisions. /li liConduct thorough testing of developed components before release. /li /ul h3We're looking for someone who must have /h3 pThe ideal candidate will bring most of the following skills and abilities: /p ul liDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. /li liStrong problem-solving and process improvement mindset. /li liAbility to design and execute test cases for software and data analysis. /li liGood knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and database querying. /li liSome experience with Python (or other data analysis languages). /li liUnderstanding of ETL architectures and relational databases. /li liExcellent teamwork and communication skills, with curiosity and a proactive attitude. /li liFoundational knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and data lifecycle management. /li liBasic familiarity with Unix shell scripting. /li liGood proficiency in English, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExposure to cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS S3). /li liFamiliarity with streaming data ingestion (e.g., Kafka). /li liInterest in machine learning or AI models and algorithms. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
