As Site Manager, you will lead construction activities on large‑scale solar projects, working closely with internal teams, contractors and authorities to ensure successful project delivery. You will have a high level of responsibility, the freedom to make decisions, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the expansion of renewable energy across Italy.
Tasks:
- Manage daily construction activities and ensure project execution in line with schedules and milestones
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics to ensure efficient project delivery
- Monitor construction progress, costs and timelines and proactively mitigate project risks
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, permits and technical specifications
- Coordinate secondary permits and liaise with local and regional authorities throughout the construction phase
- Lead contractor coordination and support commercial management regarding variations and claims
- Implement quality management measures, oversee inspections and manage corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with Italian HSE regulations and promote a strong safety culture on site
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate site documentation
- Act as the on‑site representative of GOLDBECK SOLAR and collaborate closely with project teams, clients and authorities
Profile:
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in construction site management, ideally within utility‑scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects in Italy
- Strong knowledge of Italian construction,
