TEST ENGINEERING HW TEAM LEADER
Mission:
- The Hardware Development Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the hardware development activities within the Test Engineering organization, ensuring project objectives are achieved in terms of schedule, cost, quality, and technical performance. The role acts as the primary technical and operational reference for the hardware development team and for the extended network of developers contributing to Test Engineering projects.
Department:
- Test Engineering in the International Design Center for the development and maintenance of Test Equipment for manufacturing.
Job Description:
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Hardware Development team, communicating priorities and execution plans based on the roadmap defined with the Test Engineering Manager.
- Monitor workload, progress, and project execution to ensure commitments are met within agreed schedules and budgets.
- Identify potential bottlenecks, risks,
and resource constraints, proposing and implementing corrective actions when required.
- Foster effective collaboration among internal resources, external suppliers, consultants, and partner organizations involved in project execution.
- Ensure hardware development activities are delivered according to project requirements, quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Monitor project scope and proactively identify scope changes or deviations from baseline requirements.
- Communicate scope changes and their potential impacts to Project Managers and the Test Engineering Manager.
- Support the Test Engineering Manager in resource planning, allocation, and prioritization across multiple concurrent projects.
