Data Hatch is a boutique consultancy helping businesses deploy production-ready data and AI systems — from agentic AI and automation to data engineering and intelligent analytics. Our philosophy: AI does the work, humans own the judgement. We work end-to-end with clients, from opportunity audits through production deployment and knowledge transfer, partnering directly with their engineering teams.
We're growing our sales team and looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us bring our AI and data solutions to more businesses across Italy.
What you'll do:
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach
- Work provided leads while also proactively building and developing your own pipeline
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to identify genuine business needs and fit
- Book qualified meetings for the founder and senior team
- Clearly communicate Data Hatch's value proposition around agentic AI, data engineering, and production AI systems
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in our CRM
What we're looking for:
- Native or bilingual Italian speaker, based in Italy
- Proven SDR/outbound sales experience, ideally within technology, data, or B2B services
- A track record of closing or contributing to deals, with a solid average deal size
- Self-starter mentality — comfortable building your own leads, not just working what's handed to you
- Excellent communication skills and resilience in the face of rejection
- Genuine curiosity about AI and how it's transforming businesses
