Your tasks
We are looking for an experienced Export Finance specialist located in Milan to join our Structured Export & Trade Finance team. Our centralized business line is responsible for all medium to long term export and commodity trade finance transactions. The export finance transactions usually agevolazioni from an export credit insurance cover (ECA and Private Risk Insurance).
Your primary focus is export finance business with cover granted by the Italian ECA SACE in the interest of Commerzbank' s client franchise. You will be domiciled in Commerzbank's Milan branch and will sit close to the Client Coverage team. Your reporting line will be into the Frankfurt based Team Head 'Global Export Markets' of the Structured Export & Trade Finance department.
**Profile**:
University degree in economics or a comparable qualification
A strong international banking background
Broad knowledge in export finance, 10+ years of practical experience
In depth experience with the Italian export credit insurance system, relevant experience with SACE is a plus
Established contacts with export finance relevant companies in Italy
Profound understanding of the regulatory challenges in corporate finance in particular with emerging markets (e.g. sanctions, KYC requirements, Basle regulations) as well as experience in the risk analysis of international borrowers
Stakeholder management skills and a confident appearance
Strong success orientation, high willingness to perform and persuasiveness
Intercultural understanding and willingness to travel
Native in Italian & fluent in English; additional language skills appreciated
