Rolesco Italia is looking for a Procurement Manager, that will be responsible for strategically managing the sourcing and procurement activities in the air conditioning and refrigeration distribution sector. The mission is to optimize the procurement process, ensure cost-effectiveness, and secure a reliable and high-quality supply chain to support the company's operations.
- JOB MAIN FUNCTIONS_ 1. Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish partnerships. 2. Cost Management:
Monitor market trends, analyze pricing, and negotiate favorable terms to optimize costs. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or efficiency. 3. Planning:
Oversee planning activities to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely deliveries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align schedules with demand forecasts. 4. Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. Implement and manage contract renewals and amendments. 5. Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and responsiveness. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as needed. 6.
Inventory Management:
Develop and implement inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels. Mitigate excess or obsolete inventory risks through effective planning. 7. Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments, including finance, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of procurement and planning activities. 8. Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Establish contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions. 9. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of procurement & plan professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND AREAS OF EXPERTISE_ **At least 8-12 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing.** **Prior experience in multinational companies and a background in air conditioning and refrigeration distribution is preferred.** **Experience in managing purchases of at least 20.000 different items and across multiple branches.** Proficiency in office automation tools (MS OFFICE) and knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred).
