All rights reserved. **Job Purpose**: - The Non-core Technical Worker (NTW) is responsible for the operational support of laboratory infrastructure, with a primary focus on environmental compliance, facility maintenance related experiment, consumable inventory management, and logistics. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations of laboratory testing facilities and supports researchers and chemists in test execution and material handling. **Key Activities**:
1. Waste Management and Environmental Compliance Manage hazardous waste, including on-site storage, vendor coordination, and governmental reporting.
Supervise and operate wastewater discharge systems, including storage tank maintenance, vendor PO processing, and discharge reporting via government platforms.
Oversee the collection and disposal of recyclable and general waste in accordance with internal and external regulations. 2. Laboratory Test Facility Operation Immersion Facility:
Conduct daily and bi-weekly inspections on temperature control and water quality.




Replace seawater in 20 immersion tanks monthly and perform regular cleaning.
Maintain and troubleshoot the heating and ICCP systems.
Spray Booth:
Replace and maintain air filters twice per month.
Perform a full booth cleaning once a month.
Blasting Machine:
Replace safety-critical consumables (e.g., hoses, gloves, viewing glass) as needed.
Arrange annual overhaul and maintenance services.
Coordinate repair and maintenance with external vendors for environmental chambers, including salt spray chambers. 3. Consumables & Inventory Management Procure and manage inventory of consumable materials essential for laboratory and facility operations. 4. Test Material Procurement & Third-Party Support Purchase raw materials and consumables needed for testing procedures.
Support cost processing and coordination for third-party testing services requested by chemists. 5. Internal Logistics & Material Handling Operate company truck to transport raw materials and finished products between the warehouse (approx. 30 minutes away) and the Geoje research site due to the absence of an internal logistics system. 6. General Support under Facility Manager’s Direction Assist with periodic fire system inspections and fire extinguisher status checks.

Manage the ordering and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE),



especially uniforms and safety shoes.
Processing of invoices for various expenses
Etc.. **Key Responsibilities**: - Waste Management and Environmental Compliance Carries out waste management and environmental compliance activities under the direction and planning of the facility manager. Responsibilities include handling and storing hazardous waste on site, coordinating with approved vendors (including PO and invoice processing), operating and maintaining wastewater discharge systems, and submitting mandatory reports through government platforms. Also responsible for collecting and disposing of recyclable and general waste in line with both internal guidelines and external environmental regulations, with regular reporting to the manager. 2. Laboratory Test Facility Operation Responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory test facilities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted experimental work for research personnel. This includes daily and scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and coordination of repairs for specialized equipment across various testing areas.3. Consumables & Inventory Management 3. Consumables & Inventory Management Procure and manage inventory of consumable materials essential for laboratory and facility operations. 4. Test Material Procurement & Third-Party Support Responsible for procuring raw materials and consumables required for laboratory testing activities, ensuring timely availability to support uninterrupted research operations. This role also involves coordinating with third-party testing service providers as requested by chemists, including managing related cost processing, documentation, and communication to ensure smooth and efficient external testing support. 5.
