At Coforge, we are looking for a Senior Engineer – Elasticsearch & Node.js with the following profile.
Main Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Node.js.
• Build, optimize, and manage Elasticsearch solutions, including indexing strategies, Query DSL, aggregations, and search performance tuning.
• Design and develop robust REST APIs that support enterprise-grade applications and integrations.
• Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and related technologies.
• Support and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Monitor system health, performance, and application telemetry using Datadog, Elasticsearch APM,



and observability tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance, scalability, and reliability issues across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver high-quality software products.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and best practice initiatives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and GenAI platforms to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to cloud-based deployments and integrations within AWS environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to development, security, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
• 5-8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development, or related roles.
