Role Description This internship Reporter role at 3d Cyber is a hybrid position based in La Spezia, with a mix of on-site reporting and some work from home. The Reporter will research and cover news related to technology, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, gathering information from interviews, briefings, events, and online sources. Day-to-day activities include pitching story ideas, conducting background research, drafting clear and accurate news articles, and producing multimedia content such as short videos, images, or audio clips to support stories. The role involves collaborating with editors and other team members, fact-checking all information, meeting deadlines, and adapting content for different digital platforms. The Reporter will also help monitor industry trends, track audience engagement, and refine stories based on editorial feedback.
Qualifications
Strong reporting and news writing skills, with the ability to gather, verify, and present information clearly and objectively.
Effective communication and writing skills, including interviewing, synthesizing complex topics, and adapting tone for different audiences.
Basic multimedia skills, such as creating or editing visual and audio content for digital publishing.
Interest in or exposure to technology and cybersecurity topics, with a willingness to learn and follow industry developments.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in La Spezia, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and commitment to accurate, non-discriminatory reporting.
Enrollment in or completion of studies in Journalism, Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with digital publishing tools, social media platforms, and basic SEO principles is a plus.
