JHC Consulting is an independent advisory practice that provides private counsel to board committees, chief executives, and heads of industry. We are a small and deliberate firm focused on questions of strategy and governance. Our work is based on the conviction that writing is the most effective form of thinking. Instead of producing slide decks or ceremonies, we provide signed memoranda that offer a rigorous challenge to internal corporate cases. For a new engagement with our partner, a Milan-based industrial group, we are seeking a Data Operations Assistant to support our analytical work. This is a full-time, fully remote role for an individual who values intellectual discipline and the precision of the written word.

The Role
The Data Operations Assistant is responsible for the integrity and organization of the information that forms the basis of our advisory work. You will spend a significant portion of your time reading through internal documents and financial reports provided by our partner in Milan. Your day-to-day tasks involve extracting specific data points,



verifying their accuracy against original sources, and organizing this information so it can be used in our formal memoranda. Unlike many data roles, this position is not strictly about quantitative processing. You will be expected to summarize your findings in clear prose, identifying gaps in information or contradictions in the records you review. You will maintain our internal databases and ensure that every claim we make in a report can be traced back to a verified assumption or a specific piece of evidence.

What You Bring
We are looking for an individual with a high degree of intellectual maturity and a background in an analytical field.
