Ref: KM47430 A semiconductor equipment manufacturing company is currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, training, and after-sales service at their customer site in Italy. The ideal candidate will have mechanical engineering and service experience within the semiconductor industry, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while cooperating with other engineers and liaising with customer. TYPE: Fixed-term Contract / Contractor (approximately 2 years, negotiable) WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 from Monday to Friday SALARY: €40-50k, depending on experience START: ASAP TRAVEL: Initial business trip to China for equipment training, with additional travel as required LOCATION: Catania, Italy (Customer Site) or Home-Based Field Service Engineer Main Responsibilities: • Install and commission semiconductor manufacturing equipment supplied by a Chinese manufacturer • Provide operational training and technical support to customers • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance,
and after-sales service activities • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding technical issues • Support equipment performance optimisation and problem resolution • Prepare service reports and technical documentation as required • Collaborate with supplier engineers during installation and support activities Field Service Engineer Ideal Candidate: • 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the semiconductor industry • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills • Ability to work independently and manage customer-facing technical support activities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to travel internationally for training and project support • Business level of fluency (C1 level) in both English and Italian All applicants for the Field Service Engineer must have the right to work in the country without any restrictions as the Company is not able to offer vi
