Do you have solid experience in material selection, corrosion engineering, welding, coating, and integrity assurance for subsea pipelines and offshore structures? Are you looking for your next professional challenge? Hill International is seeking a highly skilled Material Engineer to support a shallow‐water subsea development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for material selection, corrosion control, welding and coating specifications, QA/QC oversight, and technical assurance for subsea pipelines and associated structures throughout all project phases. As a Material Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing material specifications, corrosion protection strategies, welding and coating requirements, and integrity deliverables for subsea pipelines and associated structures, ensuring full compliance with project standards and seamless technical integration across engineering, fabrication, and installation teams. Roles and Responsibilities:



Material Selection & Engineering Develop material selection reports for linepipe, fittings, PLET/PLEM structures, CRA materials, and flanges. Define corrosion allowances, pressure/temperature class requirements. Ensure compliance with DNV-ST-F101, API 5 L, ISO 13628, and API 17 D standards. Corrosion Engineering & Protection Systems Define internal and external corrosion protection strategies. Review CP design calculations, anode systems, and coating specifications. Evaluate inhibitor/MEG/CI requirements and corrosion risk assessments. Welding Engineering & Fabrication Support Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications. Support weld overlay, clad systems, and heat treatment requirements. Review NDT requirements and weldability evaluations. Coating & Field Joint Protection Define external coating systems and field joint coating (FJC) requirements. Review coating procedures, qualification testing, and
