ppIn this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of plastic components and assemblies for injection molding applications, ensuring compliance with functionality, quality, manufacturability, cost, and reliability requirements. /ph3bYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES /b /h3ulliDesign and develop complex plastic components and assemblies for injection molding applications /liliCreate and maintain 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and related documentation /liliDefine plastic design concepts according to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles /liliSelect suitable plastic materials and define dimensional tolerances /liliCollaborate with tooling suppliers and mold manufacturers during mold design, qualification, and production ramp-up phases /liliSupport prototyping, testing, validation activities, and root-cause analyses /liliReview and optimize designs to improve product quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency /liliMentor junior team members and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the department /liliSupport continuous improvement initiatives and standardization activities /liliWork closely with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and external partners /li /ulh3bYOUR QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS /b /h3ulliTechnical diploma or comparable qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field /liliSeveral years of experience in plastic component design for injection molding /liliStrong knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding processes, tolerancing, and DFM/DFA principles /liliExperience collaborating with tooling suppliers and managing mold development activities /liliProficiency in SolidWorks is a plus /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /liliStructured, autonomous, and result-oriented working style /liliExcellent communication and collaboration skills /liliFluent in English; as well as in German and/or Italian /li /ulh3bOUR COMMITMENT /b /h3ulliInnovative work environment in a young,
