ph3Responsibilities /h3 pPeraton is currently seeking to hire an experienced bG7 /b bMilitary Exercise Planner /b for its' Southern European Task Force–Africa (SETAF-AF) Strategic Mission Support Program /p pbLocation: /b /p ul libVicenza, Italy – t /bhis position is based in Vicenza, Italy, and will require frequent business travel to the African continent or other global locations. /li libRelocation is available and the position can be accompanied /b /li /ul pbRole Description: /b /p ul liOur Southern European Task Force–Africa (SETAF-AF) Strategic Mission Support Program is seeking a G7 Military Exercise Planner to join our diverse team in Vicenza, Italy. /li liThis position supports the SETAF-AF G7 Staff Directorate in the planning and execution of U.S. African Command (USAFRICOM), U.S. Army Europe–Africa (USAREUR-AF), and SETAF-AF exercises on the European and African continents. /li liYou will will facilitate all aspects of exercise coordination and preparation throughout the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) across all staff elements, both within SETAF-AF and externally as required. /li liYou will develop, coordinate, and execute Command Post Exercise (CPX) training with emphasis on Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) and operational environment development. Candidates should be familiar with the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and be able to translate strategic directives into comprehensive exercise design and plans. /li liAdditional duties will include: ul liJELC event management, /li liorders production, /li liconcept development, /li limulti-year exercise strategy development, /li liintegration of innovation and technology, /li lilogistical planning. /li /ul /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbBasic Qualifications /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or Officer in the U.S. military. /li liMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience with military planning, design, and execution of Brigade-level or higher headquarters-level exercises.

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
