On behalf of a bmajor /b Client in the Oil Gas industry, we are seeking a highly experienced bIC Engineer /b for a strategic project in the Mediterranean. /p h3Project Overview /h3 pThe successful candidate will join the bEngineering /b team overseeing a high-profile project involving the construction of new bsealines /b and the brevamping /b of existing offshore platforms. This is a long-term assignment based in bMilan (Home Office) /b, with a project duration extending through bDecember 31, 2027 /b. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pThe role focuses on the supervision of instrumentation design, control systems integration, and technical documentation review: /p ul libEngineering Document Review: /b Systematic review, commenting, and validation of IC deliverables, including bPIDs /b (instrumentation part), Instrument Index, I/O lists, and Cause Effect matrices. /li libControl Systems Oversight: /b Providing technical expertise for the integration and revamping of bDCS /b (Distributed Control Systems), bESD /b (Emergency Shutdown Systems), and bFG /b (Fire Gas) systems on existing platforms. /li libSubsea Instrumentation: /b Reviewing specifications for subsea control modules, sensors, and umbilical terminations, ensuring reliable signal transmission and system interoperability. /li libEquipment Specification: /b Reviewing data sheets and technical requisitions for field instruments, control valves, and metering systems suitable for offshore/marine environments.



/li libTechnical Compliance: /b Ensuring all instrumentation and control designs align with international standards (e.g., ISA, IEC 61508/61511 for Functional Safety) and specific project requirements. /li libReporting Administration: /b Accurate management and compilation of project btimesheets /b, technical query (TQ) logs, and periodic engineering status reports. /li libInterfacing: /b Acting as the IC focal point between the Client, contractors, and other disciplines (Process, Electrical, and Subsea) to ensure seamless system integration. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications Skills /h3 ul libExperience: /b 10+ years of experience in Instrumentation Control Engineering within the bOil Gas /b sector, with specific expertise in bOffshore and Subsea /b projects. /li libTechnical Knowledge: /b Deep understanding of brownfield integration, Functional Safety (SIL), and subsea control architectures. /li libStandards Expertise: /b Familiarity with ATEX/IECEx requirements for hazardous areas and offshore-specific instrumentation codes. /li libLanguages: /b Full professional proficiency in bEnglish /b (written and spoken) is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a strong asset. /li libSoft Skills: /b Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to technical detail, and the ability to manage complex technical documentation in a corporate office environment. /li libStart Date: /b Immediate. /li libContract Type: /b To be discussed based on the candidate's profile and seniority. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
