ppbJob Description: /b /p h3Job Summary /h3 pCROWN Packaging Manufacturing Italy S.r.l. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility.
This role ensures optimal operational efficiency and minimizes downtime.
/p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, presses, pumps, motors, and automation machinery.
/li liDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
/li liExecute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of defective parts, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
/li liInstall, align, and commission new mechanical equipment and machinery.
/li liCollaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring mechanical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
/li liMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
/li liAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout protocols.




/li liParticipate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs as needed.
/li /ul h3Job Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh School Diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
/li liProven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
/li liStrong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
/li liProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
/li liFamiliarity with common hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.
/li liAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
/li liExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
/li liEffective communication skills, both written and verbal.
/li liPhysical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
