We are seeking a Ground Station Engineer to be involved in major projects in the space sector.

Background

- University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering
- Design and validation of satellite Ground Stations

Skills

- ​​​​​​Experience designing and building RF communication systems;
- Competence in IP networking concepts;
- Working knowledge of Linux operating system;
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems;
- Integration and test of hardware systems;
- Experience with RF, electrical, and networking test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.);
- Field support;




- Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory;
- High motivation, proactive working approach and strong sense of responsibility.

Tasks:

- Assimilate the Ground Station document about design, procurement, production, integration and installation;
- Participation in Ground Station acceptance phase;
- Participation in Remote Ground Station acceptance phase;
- Understanding of the Ground Station design (including software);
- Understanding of the Remote Ground Station service;
- Support to the GS AIV team for the GS Integration activities.
