About Bits is a software development agency based in South Tyrol. We build custom digital solutions for local and global companies.
Who are we?
We are a team of young and creative minds who love to design and implement original digital solutions. We are NOT a marketing agency that produces off-the-shelf presentation websites, but we build customized software solutions together with innovative start-ups and global companies. Where will you work?
We are a remote first company. This means every employee can work from home for up to four days a week. Once a week we all come together at our brand new office in Klausen/Chiusa. In addition, once every quarter we also organize a team event where we spend a day together to have some fun.
- Backends written in Java with Spring Boot
- Frontends written in TypeScript with React
- Different kinds of databases such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis
- Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code
Your role in this journey
Together with your team you are responsible for the development of challenging software solutions for our clients. We work in an agile, Kanban like style, and practice a 4 eye principle. Every line of code will be reviewed by one of your peers or even written in a pair programming session.
Your skills and experiences
- Good knowledge of Java
- Experience in handling and modelling with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks
- Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS
- 3+ years of work experience or personal projects
- Willingness to learn new things and share experiences with your team
What we offer
As a starting point, we offer an annual gross salary of 45.000 € on a full-time basis (14 monthly salaries). Depending on qualifications, professional experience, and position-relevant competencies, an adjustment of up to 55.000 € is possible. In addition, we offer attractive benefits.
