On behalf of a leading multinational company developing solutions for industrial automation and manufacturing, we are looking for a:
Sales Engineer
The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Technical), and has a proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical-commercial role. Integrated within a multidisciplinary team, the candidate will be responsible for offering technical-commercial support to customers in the market, overseeing technical application analysis, and delivering dedicated solutions.
The candidate will manage the entire process from the initial evaluation of the customer's application to feasibility checks, contributing to proposal development, client account management, and ongoing technical assistance.
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare technical and commercial offers;
- Deeply analyze customer's specifications and propose technical solution;
- Qualify and develop sales leads, proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, develop and implement a Sales Plan to achieve KPIs;
- Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements, work closely with Development Sales Managers and Businesses Development Managers across Europe
- Support Sales team in technical meetings;
- Manage complex high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments.
Pro-active customer visits for presentations, technical and commercial discussions. Manage the complete sell-cycle from lead qualification to deal closing, when appropriate;
- Build up long term relationships with customers and prospects;
- Use internal tools to generate offers, follow up and keep it updated.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in managing technical and commercial offers for complex industrial products and engineered equipment, with the ability to analyze customer specifications, develop technical proposals and support structured B2B sales processes;
- Graduate Electrical Engineer or Technical Degree;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability;
- Ability to generate, follow and close sales opportunities;
- Fast learner and able to work both independently and as a team.
Salary range 40.000 – 50.000€
