We serve a wide range of sectors including steelworks, foundries, cement plants, Waste‑to‑Energy facilities, biomass plants, and fossil‑fuel power stations.br/In the past twelve years, Magaldi has expanded into thermal energy storage, developing cutting‑edge technologies that contribute to the global energy transition and enable greater integration of renewable sources into power generation systems. /p h3bOPEN POSITION: SERVICE ENGINEER /b /h3 pThe selected candidate will join the Service Department and be responsible for ensuring optimal operation of Magaldi equipment at customer sites. /p h3bMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES /b /h3 ul liCustomer Satisfaction: Ensure customers are happy with Magaldi equipment through proactive visits and regular communication. /li liMaintenance Recommendations Supervision: Review customer equipment and spare parts, recommend maintenance, and supervise field activities. /li liField Installation Supervision: Oversee new equipment installations with plant personnel and field contractors. /li liService Reporting Documentation: Document customer problems and provide appropriate service and spare parts recommendations. /li liAftermarket Sales:
Support promotion of aftermarket services and spare parts. /li liWarehouse Support: Assist in shipping and receiving when needed. /li liScheduling: Help maintain a proper service schedule under the Aftermarket Service Manager. /li liSafety: Ensure compliance with company and all local, state, and national EHS standards. /li liTroubleshooting: Act as the local technical expert for diagnosing faults, repairing equipment, recommending preventative maintenance, and monitoring project timelines. /li /ul h3bREQUIREMENTS /b /h3 ul libDegree /b: Technical degree preferred or equivalent. /li libExperience /b: 5+ years in industrial maintenance and service; foundry and/or power plant experience preferred. /li libIT Skills /b: Not mandatory, but ability to read engineered drawings is required; familiarity with various software is a plus. /li libTechnical Skills /b: Ability to read technical drawings, use computer software, and make modifications. /li libSoft Skills /b: ul liStrong communication skills to work with teams and attend meetings. /li liExcellent organization skills to manage multiple projects and strict deadlines. /li liEffective time management, including monitoring others’ time to keep projects on schedule. /li /ul /li /ul h3bEMPLOYMENT TERMS /b /h3 pSalary and level of employment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. /p h3bEqual Opportunity Employer /b /h3 pMagaldi is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in our workforce.
