ppA Mid-Level DevOps Engineer assists in designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and Flux1. This involves contributing to the configuration and management of Kubernetes clusters, Terraform infrastructure as code, and GitOps workflows to support automated application deployment2. This role will work with development teams to support continuous integration and continuous delivery of software applications and assist with the operational maintenance and support of our shared infrastructure estate. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the design and management of cloud-native system architectures using Kubernetes, aiming for high availability, performance, and reliability. /li liImplement and manage Terraform infrastructure as code to provision and manage cloud resources, ensuring consistency. /li liDevelop and maintain GitOps workflows using tools like Flux or similar, to automate deployment of applications. /li liAssist in the design and operation of container-based hosting environments using Kubernetes, including management of pods, services, and deployments. /li liSupport the management and configuration of cloud-native networking components, including load balancers, ingress controllers, and service meshes. /li liParticipate in incident and problem management to identify root causes and implement fixes, with a focus on automation and self-healing systems. /li liCollaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration with cloud-native infrastructure. /li liAnalyze and improve systems' performance scalability, and automate systems management using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes dashboard. /li liUndertake regular review of IT Security vulnerabilities related to Infrastructure, participate in remediation work to improve Infra security scores, and ensure compliance with organizational security policies.



/li liProvide 3rd line support where required in an on-call roster covering one or more of our applications, with a focus on resolving technical issues and improving overall system reliability. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liExperience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking fundamentals, pod management, and service management. /li liExperience with infrastructure as code concepts. /li liFamiliarity with GitOps workflows. /li liUnderstanding of cloud-native architectures, including microservices, service meshes, and containerization. /li liExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, including Docker builds. /li liProblem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. /li liGood communication skills, with the ability to work with development teams and other stakeholders. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with Terraform/OpenTofu. /li liExperience with Flux GitOps tool. /li liFamiliarity with NGINX Ingress Controller, including basic configuration and troubleshooting. /li liExperience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps pipelines or similar. /li liExposure to cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including management of cloud resources and services. /li liBasic understanding of IT security principles. /li /ul h3We’re looking for someone who is: /h3 ul libdriven /b to push the boundaries and lead change and performance /li libcommunicative /b to leave no-one in the dark and to work with your team successfully /li libreliable /b so we know that we can call on you to meet deadlines /li libpassionate /b about the latest technologies and standards /li libproactive /b to suggest improvements, identify and fix potential issues /li libsolid /b technically speaking, to advise both Clients and internal teams /li /ul pWe are committed to fostering an inclusive environment, respecting all individuals, and supporting diversity and inclusion for all team members.
