ph3Responsibilities /h3 pPeraton is hiring an onsite resource for an IT Asset Manager in USAG‑Italy. Under immediate supervision, responsible for managing DoD property, book requirements directly supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and infostructure initiatives. Performing IT asset management and accountability functions including inventory control, life cycle replacement coordination, warranty tracking, and software license management using Global Combat Support System (GCSS‑A) and other inventory control systems. /p pWhat you’ll do: /p ul liManage DoD property book requirements supporting enterprise IT infrastructure. /li liDevelop, review, and maintain IT asset management procedures and system requirements. /li liAccount for IT hardware and software assets, including inventory control, tracking, and reporting. /li liCoordinate IT asset life cycle replacement activities, ensuring timely refresh and disposal. /li liTrack equipment warranties and manage software license issuance, and compliance reporting. /li liTrain staff and customers on IT asset management procedures and supporting applications. /li liConduct internal audits on IT property accountability and asset management. /li liDevelop and implement corrective action plans to address audit findings and process gaps. /li liLead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. /li liEnsure compliance with DoD policies, contractual requirements, and IT asset management. /li liProvide weekly and monthly status reports documenting work performed. /li liEnsures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Maintains control over numerous types of inventories. /li liConducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with records on hand.



/li liEnsures quantities of both incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate with reports and conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with appropriate departments to ensure appropriate levels are on hand. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pWhat you’ll need: /p ul li7 years with AS/AA, 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; or 9 years of applicable experience in lieu of degree. /li liActive DoD Secret clearance. /li liDoD Baseline Certification (Mandatory): CompTIA Security+ CE (IAT Level II). /li liMust be able to secure TechRep immigration status in Italy prior to work start date. /li /ul pDesired Experience: /p ul liFamiliarity with GCSS‑A and other military inventory control software. /li liUse of accounting systems for IT hardware and software assets, including inventory control. /li liKnowledge of coordinating IT life cycle replacement operations. /li liExperience maintaining inventories, tracking, and reporting equipment warranty status. /li liHistory of issuing, revoking, and reporting status and availability of software licenses. /li liDoD property book management and DA Form 3161 (Hand Receipt) processing. /li liSharePoint‑based asset tracking portals and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). /li liArmy IT acquisition processes and configuration management database (CMDB) operations. /li liCPSM certification, Certified Proffesional in Supply Management /li liAPSM Associate Professional in Supply Management /li /ul h3Target Salary Range /h3 p$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
