It requires us to search and select **R&I; TECHNICAL LEADER - HYDROMECHANICAL & VEHICLE ARCHITECTURE SPECIALIST** **Responsibilities** In the product concept team, the mission is to bring to life innovative technologies and concepts in new and imaginative ways. We are looking for a professionist** **who will contribute to the realization of challenging New Product Development (NPD) and Research projects. He/She will be will be able to effectively lead projects and resources to the realization of technical innovation targets. **Activities**
- New concepts ideation, design, and verification assessment including realization of rapid prototypes and assemblies thereof, following designs through the development cycle with hands on laboratory testing and verification.
- Support or conduct Multiphysics simulation using Finite Element Analysis and Dynamic System simulation tools as well as creation of analytical and first-principle models.
- Contribute to the analysis of vehicle energy system architectures, studying full system thermo-hydraulic circuits and formulating optimized solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and technical leaders to provide efficient solutions to prototype and production issues related to the mechanical assemblies and functional performance of the thermo-hydraulic systems.
- Prepare, update and own sub-system SORs (functional requirements), DFMEAs and specific DVPs, interfacing with multidiscipline teams supporting design,
analysis and verification.
- Support the creation of cost estimates for customers and other company entities (business development, purchasing, sales), creating product documentation and making presentations to clients and co-workers.
- Plan and develop R&I; projects, determining and defining clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for all involved staff members holding regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges and monitoring KPIs. **Requirements**: - Master of Science, or equivalent in mechanical engineering, with knowledge of hydraulic principles and design of mechatronic devices.
- Hands-on deep knowledge and experience in 1D multiphysics and 3D CAE and CAD modelling environment and realization of technical drawing, including the dimensioning and tolerancing principles and indications.
- Knowledge and experience in the market of electro-hydraulic machines, thermal management systems for the transportation industry and vehicle energy management architectures and principles.
- Experience working analytically, through simulation and in practical prototype testing. Inquisitive and motivated to solve problems as an individual and as part of a larger team.
- Acquaintances of financial and budgeting principles as well as practical experience in projects monitoring and reporting tools (SAP, MSProjects, MSTeams ).
- It is expected minimum 4 years of experience in a structured environment working with engineers of different disciplines and different levels of expertise.
- Fluency in English is a must, another European language is a plus. Location**: Lumezzane (BS)
