**Kemin Nutrisurance Europe** is looking for **Scientist **who is responsible for being the technical lead on multiple cross-functional teams, performing literature reviews, and incorporating them into research strategies. - Perform GC-MS analysis necessary to move forward the R&D; projects.
- Manage and mentor direct reports to reach goals.
- Manage the daily activities of the R&D; laboratory and pilot plant.
- Review and approve SOPs, research protocols, and research methods.
- Responsible for performing literature reviews and incorporating them into research strategies.
- Independently perform advanced statistical data analysis and review others’ data.
- Prepare and present research reports in multiple formats for both internal and external audiences.
- Must adhere to laboratory standard operating procedures, documentation, and guidelines.
- Participate in strategic planning and customer meetings. Qualifications:
**Education and experience**: - Bachelor's, master’s degree or phD in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, Biotechnology.
- 5 years of experience in R&D; department with palatant, protein, functional ingredients, or industrial food.
- Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
- Written and verbal communication in English & Italian is required. **Requirements**: - Must have a solid understanding and adherence to the Servant Leadership philosophy.
- Good GC-MS knowledge.
- Detail-oriented, organized, prioritization skills, and motivated by accomplishment.
- Must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
