Headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, outside of Detroit, LINK maintains testing laboratories, manufacturing, and support facilities around the globe: Europe, Asia, and South America. /p h3About the Role /h3 pThe Electrical Project Engineer will be part of our engineering team. It will be responsible for the research, design, development, documentation, and support of electrical systems for precision test equipment, data acquisition, and control systems. /p h3Responsabilities /h3 ul liDrawing of electrical schematics for testing machines using CAD tools. /li liSuggest new designs, and innovative solutions for improvements. /li liPerforming technical calculations including full load amps, short circuit amps, conduit sizes etc. /li liPerformance Level Calculation according to EN 13849-1 /li liSelection of components and creation of BOMs in the ERP system. /li liSupervise suppliers during the realization of electrical cabinets and verify the quality of the delivered assembly. /li liPerforming checkout of the electrical cabinets at the delivery /li liSelection, programming and troubleshooting of motor drives/motion control systems. /li liSupport to Sales, Operations, Testing and Validation Departments. /li liDocumentation including manuals and technical files to keep required records. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, and at least 5 years in the field of electrical design. /li liProven experience with electrical schematics using CAD tools (Eplan is preferred). /li liExperience in automation systems (machines, sensors, control, PLC,
