ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direct supervision of the Security, Org & Position Management stream Lead, this role will support Org and Position management activities in Workday, from a functional and technical point of view. In particular: - Engage with Regional Bureau,
Country Office and Divisional focal points, mapping and digitalizing offline organization charts, including the identification of supervisory roles and supporting/implementing changes in Workday
- Ensure that mapped organizational structures adhere to corporate guidelines
- Assist in the extraction and creation of load files for legacy SAP system and supporting with analysis of integration pending records
- Conduct data cleansing and data verification activities, across OM and Security
- Perform data preparation, reporting and data analysis
- Analyse and reconcile Organisation and position management data.
- Support the Org Management Lead in coordinating tasks and activities with HQ Divisions and Regions/Country Offices colleagues
- Support with Testing activities of new Workday functionalities
- Support job aid and training material preparation, training delivery & other change management activities relating to the HCM project
- Provide high quality customer support service through the Workday platform related to Org and Position Management and Workday Authorization
- Other tasks as required. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education: Advanced University degree in Computer Science, Human Resources Management or Business Administration Experience: - 2+ years of postgraduate relevant experience in HR Information system maintenance and support,
preferably with experience in an international context;
- Experience in the analysis of complex data;
- Experience with Organizational Structure data desirable
- Experience of ERP or HCM (such as SAP or Workday) desirable
- UN experience desirable Knowledge & Skills: - Ability to work and deliver results within a highly complex organizational environment (i.e. with diverse team, matrix structure, highly evolving operational context and staff working hardship locations);
- Analytical mind and business acumen;
- Problem-solving aptitude;
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of working with different cultures;
- Knowledge of HR system solutions;
- Proactive and willing to propose enhancements;
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and/or any data visualization tool
- Understand Workday system functionalities Languages: - Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
