The Jewellery Expert is recognised for his/her exceptional expertise in the field and his/her outsized network in Italy. **What you'll do**: - Be responsible for curating auctions on a weekly basis
- Screen lots submitted by our users and use your expert knowledge to value them.
- Understand and analyse KPIs and suggest possible strategies to fix underperformance or suggest strategies to grow
- Leverage your extensive network to bring in new buyers and sellers
- Liase with Account Managers to bring in new business and diversify the selection of lots offered in your auction
- Work with our marketing team to generate an increase of potential seller and bidder attention for your category auctions
- Liase with the Business Developers to bring in new key accounts and top sellers, that diversify the selection of lots offered in your auction.
- Attend fairs and exhibitions,



to meet existing sellers and new buyers. **What you'll bring**: - Minimum 3+ years experience in the Jewellery Industry
- High specialisation in Jewellery
- Long-standing experience in Buying & Selling Jewellery
- Solid understanding of 'trade' practices and commercial dynamics at International level
- Exceptional expertise in the field developed over the years of professional experience in combination with formal education: gemmology degree, from a well-recognised International Institute is required (eg. GIA, HRD, IGI).
- Deep knowledge of laboratory reports standards
- Confidence in handling challenging commercial dynamics and negotiations aimed at optimising inventories and maximising the category growth
- Deep knowledge of trade prices in order to comfortably assess, discuss or object (if needed) the quality of objects submitted with the team and with external partners (Sellers)
- Working in a target-driven environment
- Willingness to work remotely in a fully digital-based environment
- Customer-oriented approach
