We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our pre-opening team. The role will report to the Accounting Manager. Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences. **Main duties and responsibilities**: - Oversee and manage the accounts receivable process, including daily monitoring of revenues, discounts, complimentary items, and cancellations.
- Perform daily cash and credit card reconciliation, ensuring proper recording in the general ledger.
- Monitor and reconcile guest paid out transactions.
- Perform daily review and reconciliation of income and transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage reconciliations of deposit accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accurate allocation of payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of the city tax.
- Support the accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, and posting.
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and compliance with internal controls.




- Support analytical accounting and cost center reporting, providing insights and analysis to management.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for internal and external audits. **Skills and requirements**: - Good knowledge of general accounting principles and Italian fiscal law.
- Strong understanding of both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Familiarity with analytical accounting and cost center management.
- Knowledge of Business Central and Opera Cloud is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
