We are now seeking an Associate to join our Italian team, located in Milano. As associate within the investment team you will play an important role delivering on OX2 becoming a hybrid IPP as well as strengthen OX2's local presence on the Italian market. You will play a key role in preparing and executing investment decisions in onshore
wind, solar PV, and energy storage projects. You will also take ownership of project management and ensure high-quality investment analysis, due diligence, and
stakeholder coordination. In addition, you will be involved in both buy-side and sell-side M&A; transactions, supporting OX2’s strategic expansion. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Take part in investments and project teams through late-stage development phase and realization to final investment decision.
- Support and be part of best practice financial modelling of renewable energy projects, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with investment criteria.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the executive team, board, and investment committees.
- Support negotiations with lenders, investors, and off-takers
- Work closely with the development,



finance, and commercial teams to align investment strategies with corporate goals.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, advisors, and investors, to optimize financing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with investment policies, financial regulations, and industry best practices. ***:
**Skills and Qualifications**:
**Essential**: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in M&A;/investments, financial modelling, or project finance within the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Proven experience in financial modelling (Excel), discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Strong communication skills. **Desirable**: - Experience working within utility, investment bank, or financial advisory firm focused on energy.
- Knowledge of M&A; transactions and corporate finance within the renewable energy sector. **What we can offer you**:
