Then you might be our future Purchaser - Intelligent Bearings (M/F) Purchasing plays a key role in the Product line’s success, being involved throughout the entire value chain of finished products/components, from development to procurement. She/He significantly contributes to the Business Line’s P&L; bottom line by delivering value through coordinated activities with development centers in St Cyr (France), Airasca (Italy) and Lulea (Sweden). This requires responsiveness and versatility to meet demanding customer expectations. **Your Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Business Line & Operations Manager, Intelligent solutions your mission will be to ensure the competitiveness of component and finished product purchases. Together with your teammate, with a high degree of autonomy, your tasks will include: - Acting as the primary link between suppliers and factories.
- Defining needs and order forecasts in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
- Monitoring and improving supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery to ensure optimal service levels for the factory.
- Actively supporting the purchasing Business Plan, with cost reduction projects and obsolescence risk management,



overseeing their implementation in the factory.
- Challenging the current supplier panel and developing potential new suppliers and creating sustainable partnerships.
- Collaborating with SKF group buyers (Global Services & Intelligent Solutions and Category Managers).
- Establishing and negotiating purchasing terms for component and finished product suppliers.
- Creating and updating commercial and logistics contracts while ensuring data integrity and administrative follow-up. **About You**: - Higher education background (purchasing, business, technical, or equivalent experience).
- Solid Experience in industrial purchasing, ideally in the mechatronics industry or Electronics
- Dynamic and capable of representing SKF
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and synthesis mindset.
- Curious, rigorous, organized, and persistent, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Knowledge of SKF IT systems (XA-Prodmast-Ariba, Power BI ).
- Technical or electronic skills would be a plus.
- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken. French is Nice to Have.
