Just a short walk away from Piazza San Marco, Aman Venice offers the perfect place from which to explore this romantic city, and to discover the hidden gems of the city while floating away on a traditional gondola. **Role** As Assistant Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort’s facilities to the highest standards. Your efforts will help ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and comfortable experience during their stay. **Responsibilities**
- Exceed guest expectations by maintaining high standards of care and service in your daily tasks, while projecting a positive image through proper grooming and professional communication.
- Report on time for each shift, adhering to uniform standards.
- Care for tools, supplies, and equipment responsibly, ensuring all items are properly accounted for and maintained.
- Perform general preventive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, painting, minor repairs, and inspecting mechanical rooms nightly.
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs of public indoor and outdoor lighting,



and HVAC systems as per the department schedule.
- Ensure that all maintenance requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Carry out garbage pickup, and ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the facilities.
- Maintain detailed records and logs, keeping track of daily tasks and projects assigned by the Director of Engineering.
- Assist with furniture setup for events, and other duties as needed to support hotel operations. **Requirements**: - At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance-related field, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort settings.
- Must have open availability and be willing to work weekends and holiday shifts.
- Ability to manage time effectively and perform tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with various departments and colleagues.
