We are looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to join our pre-opening team. The role will report to the Accounting Manager. Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences. **Main duties and responsibilities**:
Manage the Accounts Receivable process, including daily monitoring of revenues, discounts, complimentary items, and cancellations. Perform daily cash and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accurate posting to the general ledger. Monitor and reconcile guest paid-out transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Review and reconcile daily income and transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. Manage reconciliations of deposit accounts and other balance sheet accounts. Ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of city tax obligations. Provide support to the Accounts Payable function, including invoice review, coding, and posting of Italian and foreign (intracee - extracee) invoices. Collaborate with operational departments to ensure correct cost allocation and compliance with internal controls.



Support analytical accounting and cost center reporting, delivering insights and variance analysis to management. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, documentation, and audit materials for internal and external audits. **Skills and requirements**: - Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and Italian fiscal law.
- Strong understanding of both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Familiarity with analytical accounting and cost center management.
- Knowledge of Business Central and Opera Cloud is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
