This ensures fast delivery times and a sustainable delivery experience for our customers. **Job title**:Equipment Maintenance Engineer** (full-time) **Job location**: Milano, Italy **Responsibilities**: - Responsible for the repair, maintenance, servicing, and improvement of automated sorting equipment at the distribution center to enhance equipment reliability.
- Manage repair parts and spare parts, including procurement requests and inventory control.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment during daily operations, handle equipment anomalies, and establish maintenance records.
- Supervise vendor operations and manage after-sales service.
- Diagnose equipment faults and develop repair solutions; formulate and implement preventive maintenance plans. **Job Requirements**: - Associate degree or higher in Automation or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design, electronic technology, electrical control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), microcontroller and interface technology, electrical engineering, computer-aided drafting, etc.



Background in mechanical and electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or electrical maintenance is preferred.
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining automated equipment. Familiarity with Siemens PLC programming, hardware configuration, and wiring. Ability to diagnose complex equipment issues through program analysis. Skilled in maintenance of conveyor lines and parcel sorting systems.
- Proficient in industrial computer hardware; capable of replacing internal components and performing system backups and restorations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Good teamwork and customer service attitude; strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic data analysis ability; capable of monitoring equipment performance through data, identifying potential issues, writing equipment management reports, and providing insights to support operational decisions.
