**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in IB DP Physics, ensuring lessons are engaging, inquiry-based, and meet IB standards.
- Prepare students thoroughly for IB external assessments and support them in achieving outstanding academic outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science Department and across disciplines to enhance curriculum design and interdisciplinary learning.
- Differentiate instruction and provide targeted support for students whose first language is not English.
- Participate fully in school life, including meetings, professional development, and relevant extracurricular activities.
- Uphold and model the values of the IB Learner Profile and the Inspired Education ethos. **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
**Essential**
- Legal right to live and work in Italy or an EU passport.
- Degree in Physics (or closely related field) and recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, including proven success preparing students for IB external examinations.
- In-depth knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme Physics curriculum.
- Strong practical laboratory skills and the ability to make physics exciting and accessible.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting multilingual learners. **Preferred**
- Experience in an international or multicultural school setting.
- Specific expertise or prior success delivering IB DP Physics.
