For more information on Hill, please visit our website at www.hillintl.com Position Summary: The Subsea Pipeline Engineer is responsible for the engineering design, verification, installation planning, and operational assurance of subsea pipelines in shallow-water environments. The role ensures technical integrity, compliance with project specifications, safe installation, and interface coordination with structures, subsea production equipment, and offshore construction teams. General Description of Role and Responsibilities: Engineering Design & Technical Review Perform and review design calculations for pipeline wall thickness, on-bottom stability, free-span assessment, corrosion protection, and burial requirements. Review pipeline routing,



tie-in configurations, expansion control, and pipeline crossing designs. Conduct design verification and ensure compliance with DNV-ST-F101, API, ISO, and project-specific standards. Review pipeline materials selection, coating systems, and cathodic protection principles. Shallow-Water Installation Engineering Prepare and review installation procedures for pipe laying (S-lay/barge), shore approach, trenching, jetting, and burial. Evaluate environmental conditions and their impact on installation. Interface with marine operations teams for vessel readiness and operational limits. Interface & Coordination Coordinate with subsea structures, riser teams, and topsides engineering. Provide technical clarification to fabrication and installation contractors.
