- _Perform the activites, under the governance/guidance of the Safety Assurance Manager (PSAM), related to safety assurance in the Projects and Programs. Activities can be related to Project, System, Software, Hardware domains._
- _Deliver safe solutions (Program and Projects)_ **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project / system / product as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety Instruction
- Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review V&V;, T&C; activities from a Safety perspective
- Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning
- Support tenders and/or RC teams to integrate product/system in projects
- Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases
- Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews
- Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors
- Manage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources)
- If identified as Safety Leader for a Safety Issue, manage 8D steps as per process
- Support actions contributing to close the findings of the assessors (Internal or External) **ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Preferable: - Mastering CENELEC Standards for Safety (orequivalent standards AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology &concepts;/principles
- Mandatory: - Educational Requirements : University Degreelevel in Electronics/Telecommunications/SoftwareEngineering/Computer science or equivalent)
- Mandatory: - Italian
- Fluent English
- Mandatory: - Can be a beginner in safety but, depending of the domain, specific experience is required on system, data preparation, hardware or software domain
