This Position reports to:
Area Sales Manager ABB Traction Division is a recognized leader in onboard propulsion technologies that drive innovation in rail, bus, and industrial vehicle electrification. A comprehensive range of high-performance and full lifecycle managed propulsion, auxiliary and energy storage solutions help improve energy efficiency and contribute to making transportation more sustainable. **Location** This role is open globally, but location is set in Italy (Genova) or Germany (Berlin). The work model is hybrid #LI-hybrid. **Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities while contributing to global budget and profitability targets across assigned countries (Local Sales Units).




- Collaborate with Product Management to provide technically sound and cost-effective solutions, prepare competitive offers, and support customer inquiries.
- Assist the Local Sales Unit team during meetings and negotiations, deliver product presentations, and conduct training sessions on products and solutions.
- Evaluate customer needs, competitor offerings, and lost proposals; support risk review processes and ensure offers meet technical and financial standards. **Qualifications**
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales global context with expertise in business development, account management and cross-selling.
- Proven skills in communication and negotiation with a customer-focused mindset, and a professional “can-do” attitude
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Any additional language is a plus.
