- RINA is currently recruiting for a **Junior Hardware Designer/FPGA** to join its office in **XXXX** within the **Electronics and System Engineering** Division. **Mission**
- RINA is looking for a Junior FPGA Engineer to join our Engineering team and support the development, integration, and validation of FPGA‑based solutions.**Key Accountabilities**
- Support the analysis of FPGA architectures based on customer requirements and technical documentation.
- Assist in translating high-level system requirements into detailed FPGA specifications.
- Contribute to the implementation and integration of FPGA designs at the hardware board level.
- Develop RTL code using VHDL.
- Participate in the creation of reusable FPGA IPs.
- Support the definition of test strategies and the verification of FPGA functionalities.
- Help collect FPGA performance metrics to validate implemented features and IP integration.
- Document development activities, including coding, validation, and verification tasks.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, milestone reports, and review materials. **Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of **VHDL** and **Verilog**.
- Familiarity with FPGA synthesis tools (e.g., **Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus**).
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., **ModelSim, VCS**).
- Basic understanding of FPGA verification methodologies.
- Interest in FPGA debugging techniques.
- Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and hardware security concepts.
- Understanding of digital electronics and hardware architecture.
- Concepts of signal processing algorithms.
- Awareness of high-speed digital design techniques.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., **PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS422, MIL‑STD‑1553**).
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., **Spice, Altium**) or schematic design software (e.g., **Cadence, Mentor**).
- Academic or internship experience in aerospace or similar fields. **Competencies**
