Role PurposeIn this role, you will define and execute the BU strategy, drive profitable growth, and ensure operational excellence across multiple logistics sites. You will have full accountability for the P&L; and play a key role in expanding our market presence while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Focus Areas
- Define and implement the Retail BU strategy aligned with DHL Supply Chain objectives
- Lead end-to-end logistics operations (warehousing, distribution, value-added services) across multiple locations
- Ensure operational efficiency, scalability,



and service excellence
- Manage capacity planning to address seasonal peaks and fluctuating volumes
- Own full P&L; accountability
- Manage operating budgets
- Drive cost optimization and ROI-focused initiatives
- Monitor financial KPIs and ensure performance targets are achieved
- Lead change management initiatives
- Drive growth through expansion of existing contracts
- Support commercial activities, including solution design and business case development
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Lead large-scale projects such as new site start-ups and automation initiatives
- Promote innovation, digitalization, and Lean/continuous improvement practices
- Lead a complex organization including Site Managers, Operations Managers, and Key Account Managers
