Offer Description The program will include the isolation and characterization of microalgal and cyanobacterial strains, the optimization of cultivation conditions in laboratory-scale systems and photobioreactors, metabolic profiling, and the valorization of the resulting biomass. Particular attention will be devoted to the identification and production of bioactive metabolites, biostimulants, and compounds with insecticidal or repellent properties, suitable for use in innovative and sustainable crop protection strategies. The activities will be carried out in line with the objectives of the PROTECTO project,
contributing to the development of biological solutions aimed at preventing and reducing damage caused by harmful organisms, while promoting ecosystem protection and environmental sustainability.
a) Master's Degree [Laurea Magistrale o a ciclo unico awarded pursuant to Art. 3(1n), Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 22/10/04], obtained no more than six years before the expiry date of this call;
b) Possession of a curriculum suitable for assisting in carrying out research activities;
c) Knowledge of the following foreign language: English.

Selection process The competition will be carried out by an evaluation of titles and examination by means of an interview.
