About The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Salerno.
This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‐funded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants.
As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
This position is offered as a 12‐month fixed‐term contract.
What You'll Be Doing
Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‐level expert on up‐and‐coming restaurants and the ones customers crave most.
Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing them the best experience.
Communicate – via physical visits, email, calls, or social media – with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
Attend restaurant and food meet‐ups.
Requirements
Comfortable with targeting new business and sales experience.
Confidence and experience dealing with partners/customers, face‐to‐face, phone or email.
Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
Comfortable with negotiations.
Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
Tenacious and persistent.
