JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is looking for a skilled Proto & Sample Procurement Assistant to support the smooth movement of materials, samples and procurement activity across the product lifecycle. Based in Scandicci, Florence,



this role will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Data Office and Procurement teams, helping to ensure accuracy, pace and clarity from research through to industrialisation.
Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, third parties and modellerias, you will help maintain material data, support purchase order activity and coordinate the documentation needed to bring prototypes and samples to the right place at the right time. This is a role for someone who enjoys detail, structure and collaboration, and who understands the importance of precision in the creation of luxury products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain raw material, hardware, mould and tool codes, ensuring master data is accurate and up to date.
- Raise purchase orders for raw materials, hardware, moulds, tools and finished goods across research, prototype, sample and industrialisation phases.
