Marsh Risk is looking for a candidate to join our Sales team within the Corporate business segment, dedicated to private middle-market clients on Milan office.
What can you expect?
Your contribution to growth in the Commercial/Sales area through new business development and analysis of the relevant local markets will be delivered through the following activities:
support prospecting and commercial development activities through a consultative, specialist approach and by liaising with all company functions;
collaborate with the team to identify new prospects by conducting territory analyses and targeted market research, and you will manage sales negotiations independently (prospect research, cold calling and organizing meetings with new potential clients, preparing commercial proposals, monitoring sales KPIs and updating the CRM), thereby contributing to the development of new business opportunities in line with shared objectives;
understand and support clients regarding changing conditions in the insurance market and risk management;
understand clients’ risk exposure and support senior colleagues in advising on insurance strategy solutions and managing client portfolios;
achieve sales targets and manage the CRM;
stay up to date on industry developments and trends, attend events and conferences representing the company, and maintain a broad and influential professional network.
Requirements:
Degree in Economics, Law, Political or Social Sciences, or similar fields;
Proven professional experience in the insurance sector, preferably in commercial/sales client-facing roles;
Good command of English (B2) as well as Italian;
Good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common IT tools;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, with a focus on achieving objectives and results.
